If you’re just starting your Erasmus in Vigo, we have the perfect plan for you! This Sunday, September 20th, we’re heading to Patos Beach for an afternoon of surfing and, above all, great vibes!

The activity lasts approximately 2 hours. If you’ve never surfed before, the instructors will teach you the basics during the first hour and, in the second, you’ll be able to hit the water and put them into practice.

The price is €13 per person and includes everything you’ll need for the activity: a surfboard, wetsuit, rash vest and accessories, as well as a lesson with instructors qualified by the Galician Surfing Federation. Groups will be small, with a maximum of 5 people per instructor, and your surfing licence and civil liability insurance are also included. The facilities are just a few metres from the beach and include changing rooms and hot showers.

We’ll meet at 3:10 p.m. at Vigo Intermodal Station, by the bus platforms, and travel to Patos together.

Transport to the beach is not included. The bus costs €1.60 each way (€3.20 return), and the ticket must be paid for in cash, as card payments are not accepted. Please be on time, as the bus won’t wait for anyone! Keep in mind that the last bus back to Vigo leaves at 8:10 p.m., and there are no more buses after that.

For the activity, remember to bring swimwear, a towel, shower gel, flip-flops, sun cream, water or a snack, and a change of clothes for afterwards. For greater comfort under the wetsuit, we recommend that guys wear boxers or close-fitting swimwear; girls can wear a bikini or swimsuit.
