MARCO Guided Visit

If you want to get to know some Galician contemporary art and have a good time, you can’t miss the guided visit to MARCO (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Vigo) this Wednesday 19th at 5:00 p.m.

Specifically, the staff of the museum will guide and explain to us the exhibition “FRANCISCO LEIRO. THE ANTHROPOMORPHIC, 1986-2022”, focused on anthropomorphic sculptures of one of the most important contemporary sculptors in Galicia (from his work are the famous Vigo statues of El Sireno at Puerta del Sol or El Nadador in A Laxe and Praza da Estrela).

The tour will start at 5:00 p.m. (please, try to be at the museum entrance 5 minutes before), will last approximately one hour and will be in Spanish, but one of our volunteers can translate if necessary.

For those who really enjoy museums, a temporary exhibition about the works of 10 recently graduated Fine Arts students, “Future Stories”, can be freely visited at the end.

In order to attend the free guided visit, since places are limited, it is essential to apply in this form.
